Mixed Nuts (1994) Umm... What?

We remember almost nothing about this movie, and with a stacked cast like this—Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn, Anthony LaPaglia, Juliette Lewis, Liev Schreiber, Rita Wilson, and Adam Sandler, to name just a few—we are worried about why we haven't seen it since the 90s. We hope it was ahead of its time and is a lost Holiday Gem but we wouldn't bet our Christmas Stocking on it. So join us as we go back to the 90s for a Christmas Surprise or the Ghost of Christmas Future. You know, the one where life sucks, everybody is miserable and the main character dies. Lethal Weapon (1987) 80’s Christmas Star or Lump of Coal

Send us a textDid you know Lethal Weapon takes place in L.A. during Christmas? Neither did we. But now that we do, we couldn't be more excited. We remember Riggs being certifiably crazy and doing a Three Stooges impression while Murtaugh complains about being too old to do pretty much anything. But you throw some Gary Busey in there and we'll grab the eggnog and head back to 1987 for one the most iconic action movies ever. Mindhunters (2004) Engaging Smart Thriller or Plotless Demoralizing Drudgery?

Idiocracy (2006) Comedy or Upcoming Documentry?

Send us a textRemember Idiocracy from 2006? No one heard of it when it hit theaters because the studio practically abandoned it but then it became a smash hit when released for rental. The funny thing is,  people see it more as an ever-evolving transition from a comedy film to a sad documentary. We find that funny too. House On Haunted Hill (1999 & 1959) Two movies, same plot, way different outcomes

One movie was coined as "Emergo" which meant mixing real F/X and stunts in the movie theater, while the other was at the beginning of a new wave of CGI mixed with stylized gore & metal/techno music.
